RC Plane 3 App Reviews
I just randomly downoaded this and was curious how it was. The game play and graphic are nice and clear, given that its an rc game. The app also has upgradable aircraft for $2-3 bucks each or you can buy the complete game for $23. you can use a Cessna, Jet and a Bi-Plane to start and every other plane is a purchase. I’d really like to see the app developer add a seaplane in here to as there is water feature possible to land on. The jets also have retractable landing gear. wanted to try the 747 but it was $3 buck not bad but maybe later. Download it! I thought it was awesome and very similar to Landings Pro just not as technical. :-)
It’s not a bad little app. It has helped my RC flying a little. The flight charactaristics of the planes seems fairly accurate, though not spot on. It would be interesting to use with an actual controller. Using the keyboard inputs can be pretty tricky, since they essentially give a full throw on/off of the servo activated, so you can’t really fine tune any of the flying. There are several camera angles, such FPV, in-flight follow, ground follow (really confusing!), or fixed location follow (as it would be if you were flying an r/c plane.) It takes quite a while to get to point where you can keep and control a plane from the ground, but it’s acheiveable. There are several other games in this, including the promise of head to head multi-player flying. However, there are never any other people logged in, so I have not had any experience with the multi-player mode.
TRYING TO REGISTER LOADS SPYWARE PAGE
Trying to register from the register screen takes to web page that claims spyware is on computer. Just deleted the ***@&#@ piece of &*&&& software. Apple show remove this software from the APP Store.

Its not perfect, but what a breath of fresh air. The game modes are superb. If someone was trying to learn RC for free, this is such a great route! i loved the game and all the different modes. Especially Rally mode

This app should be removed from the store. You cannot play unless you register, but when you go to register it redirects you to some spam site.

Really Unstable Now
What a great game - nice music, nice graphics, just a great way to let your mind melt for a while. After buying a new Mac and loading the game onto it, RC Plane is all but unuseable. More times than not, it won't load, and when it does, the game is glitchy or halts unexpectadly. Hopefully the developers will update or fix the glitches...
A good game
I think Rc airplaine 3 is a fun game. But when I fly a drone it just goes backward.

So when i try to make an account it says network issue even tho i can download a 2 gb thing in like 5 seconds and keeps crashng

I just want to play the game. Why do I have to make an account and log in? I guess the price is right. Removing the program now...

Can't login
I was able to set up my Game Center account with this app and play for a while. It was fun and I got a lot of acheivements. But now the 2nd time I opened the app I can't login with Game Center account or even sign up for Frozen Pepper account. My network is fine, the game just keeps saying network connection error.

I have been using this game for years on the computer and mobile platforms. I thought that I should finally give my opinion on it. Unlike the other reviewers, I took time, around four years, to get acquainted to the game. In general the program is fun, creative, and a good way to pass the time. I wouldn’t exactly call it a ‘game’. It is a game in some ways, while in others it’s a simulator. The controls are perfect, adjustable, and easy to learn. The graphics are awesome. I felt like the developers worked hard on creating a plane game/simulator with dozens of modes, planes, and customizations, that really fit together. If you happen to download it, trust me in saying that the in-game purchases are so worth it. I haven’t purchased all the planes yet… sadly… but the ones I’ve bought are so fun to cruise around in. I always enjoy spicing up the scenario settings. Add some wind, change the time, and change the physics. I haven’t run into any serious problems on the computer platform. However I haven’t been able to long onto the mobile version in months… :( … Overall if you take some time to practice in four years you can do about anything in this game… Unlock tombs and volcanos, be devoured by sharks, land on carriers, enter into combat, the list goes on… Overall I’d rate it 9.7/10.0...

DEVELOPERS: I just noticed the problem with the drones: when using the throttle on the DXe, when you stop moving it the throttle keeps moving at a slower rate proportional to how far above or below horizon (middle, zero) it is, and will max out or totally kill the throttle in just a few seconds. Hovering is impossible because the stick on the screen keeps moving after you stop moving yours until it tops out or bottoms out. Hope this helps. Find the Faulted Geologist if you have any questions. This app works with the Spektrum WS1000 and a Spektrum transmitter (Tx) like our DXe. The settings should be configured manually, or try toggling the opposite on all the ‘invert’ options for the four axis settings on the XBox controller setting. Free is cool, but the controller functionality kept me. I paid $3 to upgrade to the drone options. FPV is lensed and distorts at close proximity. Warms up my 2k11 MBP pretty hot. Time for new hardware. Worth the download. To exit a flight, hit the PAUSE button top right and select Menu.
No joystick control
It might be fun to actually be able to control the game via an xbox 360 controller. The controls setting shows the joystick controls for the controller including the in game on screen display but the inputs from the controller are none existant. scenery looked nice from what i could see on the ground.

not the best game. Controls are very difficult. The plane keeps nosediving and never goes straight.
Drones
Drones don’t fly right in the game. PLEASE FIX THAT ALSO. THANKS. SERIOUSLY FIX IT IN THE NEXT UPDATE PLEASE.
Fun but not real.
This is a flight game, not a simulator. The controls work as they should be the physics are way off. While there are a million proofs, just try slipping. (Hard rudder, hard opposite aileron) The slip will not do anything like what it should. There are a ton of other examples of how the various aircraft don’t fly true to reality but this is a really obvious one. And yes I did turn on the expert reality mode. That didn’t help. This is a fun game, but not good for simulation.
